Florida's Space Coast

The SPACE COAST area is the region in Florida around Kennedy Space Center, located in the center of the state, just south of Florida's FIRST COAST, stretching for approximately 72 miles along the Atlantic ocean with pristine beaches. Most of the area lies within Brevard County, with portions extending into Volusia and Indian River Counties. The principle cities in the area include Titusville, Cocoa, Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach, Melbourne and Palm Bay. Just 35 minutes west of the SPACE COAST is the International Airport in Orlando, Disney, Universal and Sea World.
